The primary goals of RDNA’s art workshops are to introduce adults and youth to the arts and deepen their artistic experience. The RDNA workshops are designed to heighten students’ perceptual ability; expand their understanding of art techniques, structure, form, and observation. Social, Cultural, and historical context from which a work of art is created will be introduced and explored. We will study the choices made by artists which help shape the students’ experience, and actively engage in perception, reflection and discussion. Students will gain practical insights into specific artworks, develop an appreciation for the arts and strengthen core skills such as abstract thinking and problem solving.
